Carol Witte

APPAREL DESIGNER

During my professional career, I have accumulated countless works in textile product design. I selected three of them here to illustrate a little of my work as a stylist. It’s important to always remember that I try to work not only with the product itself, but the reason it exists. What experience or emotional connection is the person who will purchase this product looking for?

SWIMMING DECATHLON - EMY - SPORTS SUIT FOR PREGNANCY

With market research work, forms and extensive quantitative research carried out with pregnant women, the brief for this product emerged. A swimsuit with more sporty lines for the mother who still wants to continue practicing her water activity in comfort, while having a durable product at the same time (maybe for a future pregnancy?).

That’s how this product was born.

SWIMMING DECATHLON - NORA - CLASSIC SWIMMING SUIT FOR PREGNANCY

The idea is to have a simple, classic swimsuit, with minimalist lines for the mother who wants a neutral piece that lasts in terms of aesthetics and raw materials.

GAIA - PRAIRIE CAPSULE COLLECTION

A mini collection with light pieces – made of linen and viscose – and with European summer influences. In the print, in addition to the field floral, the classic Vichy is also present. Large shirts, linen shorts with a tailored cut, or viscose shorts with a more fluid fit make up the collection’s product mix. The Slip Dress and the 60’s style bikini bring even more femininity to the collection.
